"The Return of 'Dr. 5trange'" (2012) was the first LP ever made by estranj, as well as the final album made under the 'Dr. 5trange' alias.
It was made in alignment with the first 'Squid' album: "Life@Sea."

Before this point most of the music recorded was in short spurt tapes that went under a few other 'Strange' related monickers which i was undergoing while in development, trying to find something i was comfortable with. I get eggy with namecalling

Before making music i remember being into graffiti and would always switch my alias as well. Even to this day I'm constantly going through name phases, as new styles develop and sway, although 'estranj' seems to be my most used, or oftenary identity, as became the most constructive with, or stuck with for the most time in general.

Beyond that, estranj kind of just made 'itself' ... Its not something i thought of one day and was like yeah thats cooll...lol. its weird. i look at it written and feel confused and disfigured. I see it as a living thing that hides inside of the wind. Out of sight, but yet stalking and laughing...
Looking. Making. Thinking. Breathing. Moving. Being.

Although it's funny/ ironic because i still feel the same way.
1. I don't really know who or what i am, really... But i do
2. I don't really care who or what i am. I just am
3. The name is, and never will be important because everything and everyone has a derivative or source of will or reason that comes definatively from outside of one'sself ultimately reflected, but i guess it goes both ways.? Are we lost or are we everything?

I could never take credit for all of my consciousness and say it's all me. It's not. It's everything else. An Intuitional Institution. the what? Sounds become us. Life and light recycle and reflect. Instead of worrying about a name or a person, I'd rather just appreciate the art for what it is and go from there... It's apart of something unidentifiable when it's from the right place. Its 'easy love'. evolving. Fix your hearing.

This album was the one that essentially triggered my second saga of music, being that it was the the first album i made after my high school years(1rst saga), so it truely holds its place, in regards to the history/ evolution of the artform/ lifestyle. It is full of wonder. I also consider this album my first 'expiramental'-route: piece. The one that had decisively left the Earth behind, and indecisively entered a sublime world of abductive divination
